LAKE OZARK, MISSOURI - (May 1, 2007) - McClure Engineering Company (MEC) of Lake Ozark, Missouri has been retained for one of the largest commercial and residential projects in the Lake of the Ozarks since the development of Porto Cima and the Villages on Shawnee Bend.
This approximate 800 acre development being undertaken by four separate developers is the largest ever to occur in the City of Lake Ozark.

Horseshoe Bend Development Group (HBDG) is underway with the anchor 470 acre master planned mixed-use development that includes the construction of a two mile four-lane divided roadway that will connect Horseshoe Bend Parkway with US Highway 54.
This $17 million extension of Horseshoe Bend Parkway combined with other new arterial road systems mean that infrastructure expenditures are projected to exceed $130 million.
Adjacent to the HBDG development are the Silver Star (180 acres - commercial/tourism), the Briscoe Group (120 acres - commercial) and the Baymont Properties (20 acres - commercial) projects.
"Although these four projects are independent from one another, MEC is providing critical services by coordinating infrastructure design and development oversight," said Bill Kuhlow, President, Cody Road Development, a partner in HBDG, and a development consultant to Silver Star.
